My friend Jesse is a great boater who has never met a hydraulic he didn't
like. This particular photo was taken on the Little White Salmon at 3.8
feet, which is a pretty serious flow. The hole at Boulder Sluice was so
big that day no one ran it but Jesse, and he hiked back up to do it twice.
On his second run he flipped in the huge wavehole leading into the drop,
rolled up going over the lip, and still managed to clear the
hole...
